Lucchesi to take Lamet`s spot in Friars` rotation

It turns out that Joey Lucchesi`s dominant Spring Training will result in a big league callup after all. The 24-year-old lefty prospect was on hand at Petco Park on Thursday, and he`s slated to have his contract selected before Friday`s game against Milwaukee, where he`ll make his Major League debut.
